The Friends Of The Orpheum Theatre is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to provide educational, operational and fundraising support for the Orpheum Theatre and other venues owned and operated by the City of Phoenix. The organization's volunteers provided ushering services for over 200 events during the 2004-2005 season in addition to conducting regular guided tours of the Orpheum Theatre through its docent program.

GateWay Community College, one of the Maricopa Community Colleges, is a fully accredited public institution of higher education offering over 85 Certificate and Associate Degree programs in the areas of Business and Information Technology, Health Sciences, Industrial Technology, Nursing and University Transfer.
